The African Bar Association has announced a range of sponsorship opportunities for its 2026 Annual Conference scheduled to take place in Sal, Cape Verde from September 20 to 24, 2026.
The conference, which will be held at the Hilton Cabo Verde Sal Resort, is expected to attract legal professionals, policymakers, and stakeholders from over 30 African countries, providing a strategic platform for networking, brand visibility, and thought leadership within the legal sector.
In a statement released by the Association, organisers invited corporate organisations, law firms, and institutions to participate as sponsors, highlighting the significant visibility and engagement opportunities available at the high-profile event.
The AFBA outlined four major sponsorship categories, each offering distinct benefits. The Platinum sponsorship package, priced at $30,000, provides exclusive branding at the opening ceremony, four complimentary registrations, speaking opportunities at the opening ceremony and welcome party, as well as prominent branding during a conference session.
The Gold sponsorship category, valued at $20,000, includes branding on conference materials, three complimentary registrations, a speaking opportunity at the welcome party, and featured branding at a session.
For organisations seeking mid-level exposure, the Silver package, priced at $15,000, offers branding on conference materials, two complimentary registrations, and highlighted branding at one conference session.
The Bronze sponsorship tier, valued at $10,000, includes branding on conference materials, one complimentary registration, and visibility during a conference session.
Organisers explained that sponsoring the conference presents an opportunity for organisations to build brand recognition among leading lawyers across Africa, network with key legal and policy leaders, showcase their services, and support the mission of the African Bar Association.
In addition to sponsorship packages, the Association also announced advert placement opportunities for firms and businesses. A full-page advert for products is priced at $3,000, while professional services adverts cost $1,000. Half-page adverts are available at $1,750 for products and $650 for professional services.
The AFBA encouraged interested sponsors and advertisers to take advantage of the platform to position themselves strategically within Africa’s evolving legal and business landscape.
The 2026 conference is expected to serve as a major convergence point for legal discourse, investment dialogue, and cross-border collaboration, further reinforcing the Association’s role as a leading voice in the African legal profession.
