AFRICAN BAR ASSOCIATION DEMANDS THOROUGH INVESTIGATION

The President of the African Bar Association has condemned the brutal killing of Anslem Mutuyiwana in Rwanda describing it as cowardly and provocative.

Mr Anslem is the spokesman for opposition leader Victoria inagbire who was recently released from prison.
The African Bar Association is worried about recent developments in Rwanda and calls on the Rwanda Bar Association and Human rights movement to urgently engage the Government to safeguard the Rights of opposition politicians and secure the rights and Liberty of every Rwandan citizen.
The African Bar Association has set up a committee to monitor the response and progress of the Rwandan Government investigation and the committee has been mandated to work with the Rwandan Bar Association to ensure that those responsible for this dastardly act are called to account in a decisive manner.
