Afba visits speaker of the Parliament of Edo State, Nigeria.

The Afba Executive Council members paid a courtesy visit to the Edo State House of Assembly speaker Hon. Adjoto Kabiri.

The president of Afba, Hannibal Uwaifo started with felicitating the speaker on the commendable development in the state and also thanked the speaker for his hospitality.

In the visit, issues on the reforms in the law practices were discussed, fishing out the few bad lawyers that stain the law profession.

Afba also mentioned its presence in monitoring at the forthcoming elections in Nigeria and Afba maintained its point on neutrality.

Issue related to the parliament and the judicial insulation from politicians and for all law makers to always maintain that justice must always prevail.

The Afba also hailed Hon. Adjoto Kabiri a very respected and humble man, to his portfolio, he happens to be the only law maker to be elected to the house for 3 good times, which is a record.

The African Bar Association also presented the road to Cairo concept, its forthcoming Annual Conference holding in Cairo, Egypt from 2nd to 5th of September
